"Yoga is universal. It is a safe space to move, to feel and to release.
Yoga for me is intentional. It brings me joy, healing with each pose, laughter and soul restoration."
I want for all of my students to feel challenged, accepted and invincible nomatter their age, weight or background.
My goal is for everyone to have a mind, body, and soul experience that leaves them refreshed and saying to themselves "Wow, I can do anything!"

I am Rae.
Born and raised in Staunton, VA!
After tapping into my mental health, corporate retail and corrections were not the place for me. After my first interview at Wild & Free, with the inviting atmosphere I knew it was where I needed to be.
I began my practice in yoga in 2017. It was a way to destress and cope with my anxiety (which I struggled with since I was 16) and then it became a lifestyle. I pursued my certification while on maternity leave to enhance my understanding in pranayama (breath work) to prepare for labor as well as finding poses that help with all stages of mental health.Yoga has helped with postpartum by giving me an escape, giving me a safe space to rest and still feel productive. Baby weight is an amazing sign that we just carried a tiny human and birthed a future leader but, the baby weight can also put weight on your self confidence. Yoga helped me to feel sexy again even though I wasn't the same size. I was also free to take it slow. Go my own pace which in turn helped me mentally, because I incorporated that in my every day life.
Outside of Yoga, I love to sing, write, be outside, try different foods, and spend time snuggling my boogie boo (Zuri) ❤
